How long does it take?

Allow at least one hour for your first appointment. If you have a complex health history, we may need longer to cover this. 

What can you expect at the appointment?

At the start of your appointment, I will ask you about any problems that are troubling you and then further questions to help me understand more about you and your health history.

By talking with you, understanding your history and making in-depth health assessments, we work out what help you might need from Nature's medicine chest. 

We then work out any other changes you may find beneficial. For example, making a dietary change, adding something to your daily routine, or attending to a source of harm. 

Healing is not an event but rather a journey, and like all journeys, it begins with the first steps.

Tongue and pulse analysis

At some point I will ask you to poke out your tongue and take a photograph. Tongues tell us a lot about what is happening inside your body. Over the course of treatments, your tongue will go through subtle but important changes that are useful to be able to track by having before and after photographs. 

I will also spend time feeling the pulses at your wrist and, later in the appointment, may again use your pulse to help test some herbs that I am thinking of giving you.

Herbal medicines

By the end of the appointment, you will have a course of one or more herbs to take and very likely an achievable goal you have agreed to work on to further support your healing. We will have a chat about how to best follow up on your progress to be sure you are getting good results in a timely manner.

All herbal medicines are made by hand with love by me.

All ingredients are certified organic, grown organically by me or ethically wildcrafted. 

How much does it cost?

Consultation fee

First appointments take up to 90 minutes and cost $95 for adults and $65 for children. 

Subsequent appointments take 45-60 minutes and cost $65.

20 minute follow ups are $30.

Payment can be made in cash or by direct internet deposit on the same day of the appointment.  

Tincture bottles can be refilled with a $1 discount per bottle. 

What should you bring?

You only need to bring yourself, but if you want to bring along medical tests, notes or other information you may think helpful, please do. You are welcome to bring a partner or other support person to your appointment if you wish.
